We never sell painted or varnished shells. Our shells are 100% natural and entirely safe for hermit crabs. Every shell order we receive is custom-filled and hand-picked based on the size and style you select. We quality-inspect every shell and guarantee they are watertight, as this is important for the health of your hermit crabs to maintain the proper moisture levels inside the shell. We also ensure there are no chips or cracks along the edges, and we file down any jagged edges until they are smooth for the safety of your crabs.

Our food bundles cover all the food pyramid categories required for optimal nutrition, including Calcium, Carbohydrates, Carotenoids, Chitin, Omega Fats, Proteins, and Lipids, with Greensand and Worm Castings. Our foods are made in small batches using only top-of-the-line ingredients to ensure maximum nutrition and safety for Hermit Crabs and Isopods. Be sure to supplement their diet with FRESH FOODS, which were researched as SAFE from reliable sources.
*** CUSTOMER SERVICE / RETURNS ***
There are no refunds on food items, crabitat accessories, or custom-filled shell orders to maintain quality control. However, we encourage our customers to contact us if there is an issue with an order, and we will do our best to make it right. If a shell is received damaged, we will issue you a credit for a replacement on your next order. If your package is lost or held up by the shipping provider, a replacement order will be shipped at no cost within 21 business days (domestic) or 45 business days (international) from the shipping date as indicated on the shipper’s tracking information.

Deep inside our shell room sit many bins filled with hundreds of beautiful seashells. Some are pearly white, some swirled with shades of jade and cream, and others with tiny imperfections that made them perfectly unique. They rested quietly together,...waiting.
If shells could dream, perhaps they would dream of the ocean they once knew. But maybe they would dream of something even more wonderful, a second chance.
You see, every shell in our bins has a story left to tell.
Each day, we gently pick up shell after shell, turning them in our hands, measuring them carefully, and inspecting every curve and opening. To some, they may look like empty shells. To us, they are tiny homes waiting for the perfect resident.
Sometimes we imagine the shells wondering, Will today be my day? Will someone choose me?
And then it happens.
A shell is selected. It is cleaned, prepared with care, and lovingly packed for its journey. In that moment, it is no longer just another shell sitting in a bin. It has been chosen.
It feels a little like an adoption.
Somewhere, a hermit crab may be carrying a shell that is too small, too heavy, or simply not quite right. And this chosen shell is about to become a new beginning, a safe home, a perfect fit, and a place where another little life can grow and thrive.
There is something magical about knowing that an empty shell can have a second life. A shell that once sat quietly among hundreds of others may soon be exploring a crabitat, climbing over driftwood, digging in the sand, and protecting the tiny creature that calls it home.
